Wagon wheels of “the Redemption and the Settler movement” are always moving forward
There is a good reason why it says in our prayers – from Chapter 92 in Tehillim (Psalms):
“5 How great are your works, Lord, how profound your thoughts!. 6 Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand. 7 that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.”
Let’s take for example the return of the indigenous people (the Jewish People) to its land of Israel or in other words – the Zionist dream unfolding or the wheels of the redemption process and settler movement rolling forward.

This is a long process with setbacks, trials and tribulations, but still always moving forward. There are of course, those short sighted and small minded fools, who don’t see the big picture, who have forgotten their own Jewish heritage and roots, and who seize the moments of a seemingly stalling process to mimic or throw sarcastic barbs and who even jump for joy with every short term “victory” of the left or the enemy.
Yes – it’s true that sometimes the arduous redemption process is slowed down and there are small setbacks (all for the good) and with seemingly victorious steps by our enemies. But one must look at the big picture and the process itself.
Such arrogant fools have forgotten that it took 480 years from the Exodus from Egypt till the building of the First Temple by King Solomon. It took Joshua over 14 years to liberate and conquer the Land of Israel from the Canaanite nations. (And even then it wasn’t complete). We were in the Babylonain-Persian exile for 70 years before only a small group of returnees with Ezra and Nechemiah rebuilt the Second Commonwealth and Second Temple.
It took time.
We returned to this beautiful land en masse in the early 19th Century but we encountered an Ottoman Empire, swamps, malaria, desert, and an Arab enemy. It took time. The wagon of redemption had indeed started moving forward and the “wheels of the settler movement” were rolling BUT it still took another 150+ years before the State of Israel was established in 1948 and yet another 19 years (1967) before Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria (The heartland) was returned to the Jewish People.
Yes – there are seemingly setbacks, trials and tribulations, but we have a long memory and patience. As opposed to the fools of this generation, we understand the long term process and the small strides in the redemption process. We understand that the messianic donkey needs to sit from time to time and not move forward. We understand that the “wheels of the settler movement carriage” don’t always roll, but are ALWAYS MOVING FORWARD.
And so when nearly 20 years are spent in court over the hotels(*) at the Jaffa Gate against the Greek church -we dont mind because it’s part of the process. And so when every so often there is a court ruling that seemingly holds up the eviction of illegal Arab squatters (*) from a Synagogue or other Jewish properties (Like in the old Yemenite Village of Shiloach), we dont mind, because we see the big picture. We know that the wheels are still rolling forward. And the ass or donkeys of this generation have no say. The donkey is simply led and will act in accordance to its master holding the reins. The foolish donkey thinks it is in control, but alas- there is the wagon driver and those sitting in the wagon !
Yes – There are indeed the fools of this generation who gloat with short term court victories, but they do not realize that they are irrelevant in the overall redemption process and that the “pioneering settler movement” WILL ALWAYS ROLL FORWARD !
40 years ago -no Jews lived in the old Jewish Quarter of the Old City (Moslem Quarter) Today – there are 1000 Jewish residents and students in the old Jewish Quarter.
40 years ago – no Jews lived on the Mount of Olives or in the City of David and the Shiloachb(Silwan).Today – there are 150 Jewish families living on Har HaZeitim. Today – there are 90 Jewish families in the City of David and over 40 Jewish families in the Old Yemenite Village of Shiloach.
It takes time. It’s all a process and the wheels of the movement are indeed moving forward. The irrelevant “Radical Left”, the Arabs and the world have tried to stop the redemption process and the settler movement. They have not succeeded. The “donkeys” of this generation are simply fools who do not appreciate G-d’s plan and the revival of Jewish life in OUR HOMELAND !!!!
