An Emirati political scientist has publicly come out in support of the Jerusalem Mufti’s Fatwa against muslims visiting Jerusalem through Israel.

“A sane Emirati tourist does not visit stolen Palestinian land to expose himself to degrading situations, even on the pretext of visiting Jerusalem,” Dr. Abdul Khaliq Abdullah said. Abdullah has long held antagonistic views against those United Arab Emirates citizens who visit Israel. For his proof that it is wrong to visit Israel and Jerusalem, he cites a Fatwa issued by the Mufti of Jerusalem.

“We absolutely won’t accept the [UAE’s] treason. One grain of sand from the soil of pure Palestine and from the soil of Al-Aqsa Mosque is more precious than our blood and our lives,” Supreme Sharia Judge Mahmoud al-Habbash said on official PA TV on Saturday, according to a translation by Palestinian Media Watch.

He continued: “Whoever wants to come visit the Aqsa Mosque through the gate of Palestine: Welcome, and we will rejoice over him. But whoever wants to come through the Israeli gate is unwanted, and he will find nothing but the shoes of the people of Jerusalem and the spit of the people of Jerusalem in his face.”

This ruling continues from previous racist rulings the Mufti of Jerusalem has issues. The most famous is his ruling that Muslims in Jerusalem are forbidden to sell land to Jews. The penalty for doing this – is execution.

While one praises the movement of Arab Muslims towards having a real peace with the Nation of Israel, it is clear by these Fatwas issues by the PA based Jerusalem Mufti that true peace is still far off. What the PA and the Mufti are attempting is to make as much of the Land of Israel Judenrein as possible.

The fact that Ateret Cohanim and likeminded organizations and people are achieving game changing real estate purchases in the heart of Jewish Shiloach and the entire Old City shows there are many Arab Muslims that appear to disagree with the Fatwas of the Mufti.

There is a common claim by the international left and the pro “palestinian” movement insisting that Israel is an apartheid state. Fatwas issued by the Mufti and carried out by PA henchmen proves that the real racism and apartheid is actually enshrined in the laws found in PA society.
