Strength Is The Only Answer To Arab Violence In Jerusalem
Ever since the Arab occupation of Jerusalem began in the early part of the 20th Century, the Jewish population understood that the only real recourse has been strength. This is what led the early Jewish defense forces like the Bironim, Lechi, Irgun, and Haganah to fight for freedom and safety in Jerusalem – even though the British who aided the Arabs threatened these groups.
Today things are different. We have a world class army and come from a position of strength. Despite this we still reel from Arab terror in Jerusalem. This was evidenced during Sukkot this year as countless Arab terror attacks swept the capital. Why can’t we put an end to all of this.
The answer is simple. Our leaders do not believe we belong here. They are too busy signing away out territory to an terrorist backed government in Beirut and cozying up to foreign western governments.
While the Israeli government is weak and lacks the necessary faith needed to push the next stage of the Redemptive process forward, there are those on the frontlines of this conflict – leading the way.
The simple men and women daring to live in historically Jewish areas that have been overrun by Arab squatters are the real heroes and it is with their actions that the rest of the nation should follow. It is their strength and faith that will make the difference, not the bowing to foreign pressure we so often witness in the upper echelons of Israeli governments.
