Strategic Shiloach Heights Park Unveiled
After nearly 11 months of planning and execution, the Shiloach Heights Garden and Park has been unveiled. Ever since the acquisition of three large buildings on the top of the Shiloach, the neighborhood has seen a radical change. A large green space existed for the first time, buttressed to the top and below by Jewish properties.
Ateret Cohanim went to work immediately planning a beautiful park and garden to service the neighborhood kids. Once planning was finished – the plan went into action. Coordinated by Simcha Herring and his team, the rubble filled space was transformed into a beautiful playground and garden for the children.
Special thanks to the Falic, Skolnick, and Koppel families for spearheading this project and donating the funds to make these two adjacent parks – Gan Yehudit and Gan Liat a reality. These poutdoor play areas are the perfect step towards increasing Jewish renewal and strengthening the growing community of the Shiloach. You can be a part of the next step by donating (by clicking here)towards the new indoor play area in Beit Yitzchok Issac adjacent to the park.
